            2008 Scavenger Hunt

            Picture
1st Place: The Scavenging Squirrels of Dash Arounders (Mary, Sarah, and Rebecca Barnhardt) This team of three sisters worked together, after Mary's teammate was unable to participate. They let us "combine" them into one team so that others would have the opportunity to get 2nd and 3rd place. These three ladies are a class act and great at solving clues! Congratulations to the Barnhardt Sisters! (Team #21 & #22)

2nd Place: These Pretzels are Making Me Thirsty (Greg Sherwood and Michael Aagard) Greg and Michael, fans of the Amazing Race, received registration as a Father's Day Gift from their wives. (Team # 23)

3rd Place: Killer Tennis (Katy & Tim Ringeman) Tim and Katy were actually the first one's to cross the finish line but did not have an sponsor pictures (5 Pictures in front of a sponsor got you 15 minutes deducted from your final time.) They were excellent competitors and really great sports. Katy and Tim, you guys really impressed us! (Team #24)

*It was completely coincidence that the team numbers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were sequential.

BEST TEAM NAME WINNER: "Friends with Benefits"

Best Costume went to team SheerluckHolmes (Kelly McPherson & Donna Drane) Kelly and Donna wore a very fashionable version of the traditional detective garb from years gone by. With hats, pipes, capes, and giant magnifying glasses, these ladies were a big hit as they solved their clues through downtown. They also had their picture in the W-S Journal! Thank you, ladies! We appreciate your creativity and making it fun
