The 2009 Scavenger Hunt has come and gone and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, or volunteered for the Scavenger Hunt this year. It was a really fun event and we were so happy to hear that everyone had a good time. 68 teams ran/walked/hopped around downtown Winston-Salem on a beautiful spring day. We had a great time organizing the event and we are happy to raise money for the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership and keep the revitalization efforts of downtown alive and strong.
Best Team Name Winner: The Very Pants I was about to Return
The Team Name Race was VERY close this year. This year's winner won by 3 votes! The prize for Best Team name is 2 tickets to Salute Wine Festival for each team member. Thanks to everyone that voted!
Runners Up: Don't Lie We Were There When It Happened and We Swear That's Never Happened to Us Before
If you missed it, teams of two solved clues that led teams to downtown Winston-Salem destinations. Once they reached each destination, they performed a simple task, had their Scene in Winston-Salem Passport stamped and took a picture to prove they were there.
