2010 Hunters Are You Ready!

The 2010 Scene in Winston-Salem, North Carolina Scavenger Hunt planning is under way. With more interesting Winston–Salem facts, fun destination and lots of prizes, it will be an excited time had by all.
Hunters will solve clues, leading them to different destinations around downtown. Clue destinations will incorporate history, community, and the arts, promoting our city as a center of culture for our residents and visitors. Whether hunters are visiting, newly established, or seasoned Winston-Salem residents, the scavenger hunt will take everyone on a fun adventure around the city on a spring afternoon. To keep things interesting and creative on race day, we will have lots of time shaving, laugh out loud tasks throughout the event and, of course, the never dull costume contest. Check back closer to race day for more contest and prize details. The race is limited to the first 100 teams of two, so do not delay and form your team today.
Using the "heart of Winston-Salem" as the scavenger hunt’s location also has significant meaning to the benefiting charity, The Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership. The Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership has lead efforts to revitalize and strengthen the core of Downtown Winston-Salem through business recruitment and support, economic development, marketing, and special events. DWSP is the lead organization in implementing the Downtown Plan.
